60 and Sunny?? (March 20)

Posted on Apr 6, 2014 by in Dixie Waters Norris | 3 comments

Can this be true…. 60 degrees and sunny in Seattle!  It was such an amazing day to be in Seattle.  More specifically, Alki beach.  Alki beach is basically a mini beach oasis in this crazy city, and I am proud to call it my home.  After I got picked up from school, we went down to the beach for a treat and a walk.  I spent a lot of time in the sand.  I just can’t get enough of the sand, and neither can my mouth.  It was chilly, so it was a good thing I wore my Hello Kitty Babylegs to keep me warm.  I am also happy I wore my tutu.  It made my strut down the beach look a little bit sassier if you know what I’m sayin.  I am thankful for this beautiful afternoon with my mom.  Vitamin D really does do the body good.

  1. If you and your mom did stop traffic you should have. You were quite the dazzling doll on the beach! Great look & much fun in the sun.

  2. Anna and Nate grew up on Alki too until they were 7 and 4. It was such fun on the beach. There was a little spot called Weather Park on Beach Dr. two blocks from our house and we spent hours there. So cool to see fashion Dixie growing!!

  3. It will be 75 plus when you get here. We can spend some time on our beach.
